About

The purpose of this site is to showcase my research as well as to bring awareness of current criminological, criminal justice and criminal policy research. The stories you will see here will be related to my current research area: Why Communication in Youth Justice Matter? The impact of young people’s speech language and communication needs on Referral Orders in England and Wales. This project is my PhD research in Criminology and Criminal Justice at Bangor University. I also have completed a BA (Hons) in Criminology and Sociology at the University of Toronto and a MA in Comparative Criminology and Criminal Justice at Bangor University with a research project titled: Youth Justice in Wales: Possibilities Through the Family Group Conferencing Model. As you can see, I am more than just interested in criminology, youth justice and restorative justice. These three areas are my passion and I cannot stop talking about them. Hence this blog, so now everyone can share my passion too! But most importantly, you will see the latest news with commentaries that are crime related, including criminal justice policy and criminal behaviour from around the world.
So stay tuned for more commentaries, opinion pieces, analyses on everything crime and criminology from all over the world! I also welcome your opinions and want to encourage your comments on my posts in order to start interesting and thought-provoking discussions or debates.
